Everest Region Trekking

Everest region also known as Khumbu region is  a popular trekking destination in the world is a home to the world’s highest Mount Everest. If it is easier to get to Solukhumbu like Annapurna, then Everest region probably would be more visited than the most visited Annapurna region. The main attraction of this region is undoubtedly world’s famous Mount Everest which is more a pilgrimage than trek. Reaching to the base camp of Everest is still a dream for many. It is the euphoric moment for anyone to have the world’s highest peak standing toe to toe with him/her.Trekking in Everest region is a lifetime journey than just reaching to the base camp. Apart from Everest, trekkers also get to witness amazing views of several peaks over 8000 meters including Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Nuptse, Amadablam, Gosainthan, and Makalu. The most popular one is Everest Base Camp trek which begins by flying into Lukla and leads trekkers to the base camp of Everest which is at an altitude of 5360 meters. Some trekking trails are short also suitable for those who don’t have much time whereas others are long and time demanding.
