This 13-day guided trek that gives you a taste of Himalayan trekking is set before the stunning backdrop of the Annapurna Massif and carries along daily yoga practice and mindfulness towards healing.

It’s beyond just that Base Camp at 4130m: it’s what you leave behind on the way up-stress, fear, self-doubt-and what you get as you come back: peace, purpose, and renewed self.

Whether you are a yogi seeking to get absorbed in practice or an adventurer who would love to encounter a balance in life, this journey will test your true limits of existence while keeping an open heart.

Trek Experience: Anticipated Events

  • Nature’s Humbling Beauty

Walk through thick rhododendron forests, sway on suspension bridges above the wind-blown mountains, and see the sunrise, as if awakening from a dream, over Machapuchare — or the holy “Fishtail” mountain.

Every day brings spectacular landscapes: glacial rivers, alpine meadows, hidden waterfalls, silent valleys. The deeper you go, the quieter it gets — and the more you can hear yourself.

  • Daily Yoga and Meditation

Awakenings with energizing asanas, pranayama, and silent meditation greet each morning. They are complemented with gentle restorative flows, reflections, and guided breathwork at the end of the day to unwind the body. All sessions are in tune with the rhythm of nature to align body and mind.

You don’t need to be flexible: just open.

  • Transformational Growth
  1. The altitude will challenge you.
  2. The climbs will be an endurance tests for you.
  3. The silence will demand that you sit alone with yourself.
  4. Yet all these challenges come with a corresponding support — from our guides, our yoga instructors, and the quiet wisdom of the mountains themselves.

Altitude Sickness

Normally altitude sickness occurs when you travel to a high altitude too quickly. Headache, nausea, tiredness etc are the symptoms occur when your body tries to adjust to the lower air pressure and lower oxygen levels at high altitudes. Here are some things you can do to prevent yourself from getting altitude sickness.

  • Stop and rest where you are
  • Do not go any higher for at least 24 to 48 hours
  • Make sure you are drinking enough water
  • Do not smoke, drink alcohol, or exercise
Preventing Altitude Sickness (AMS):
  • Rest Well: Ensure that you rest well before starting your trek.
  • Stay Hydrated: Continue drinking plenty of water during the journey.
  • Balanced Nutrition: Maintain the balance of salt and sugar through proper eating habits and not skipping meals.
  • Keep Warm: Layer up to remain warm without profuse sweating.
  • Controlled Breathing: Breathe deeply and steadily from your diaphragm to maximize lung capacity. Maintain a comfortable walking speed that will allow for controlled breathing. Nasal breathing avoids drying your throat—wearing a muff or scarf in high altitudes might be of use.
  • Pace Yourself: It’s not a competition. Pace yourself with a maintainable and Server consistent pace instead of exhausting yourself too early and taking many rest stops. Stop and admire the stunning views.

Best Season to Trek Annapurna Base Camp Yoga Trek:

It’s magical in spring; rhododendron forests are full of color, the earth flaunts bright greens, and the weather is gentle. The trail is lively with colors and energy around this time, making it the time for seekers of nature and of inner well-being. Mornings do yoga with flowering hills around and evenings under quiet skies for meditation.

Crisp and clean with post-monsoon views of the mountains, autumn brings with it great trekking conditions. It is a favored time to trek because it is usually quite reliable – little cloud, clear views of the Annapurna and Machapuchare, and dry trail. Great for some really deep inner work, meditation, and breath-focused practices.

The monsoon months of June to August do bestow on the land beauty and lushness, but they pose the evils of heavy rain, some very slippery trails, and quite a number of leeches-not very ideal for adventure trekking or outdoor yoga practice. Likewise, winter from December to February is characterized by freezing temperatures and possible snow blockages at higher altitudes, which complicate the trek because of the accessibility it offers to most participants.

Of all, the finest would be either in April or October, with the weather almost perfect and less threatening to visitors, and absolutely superb Himalayan scenery.

If the above Everest Base Camp Trek itinerary does not meet your needs, we can design individualized travel plans based on your preferences and specifications.
