The city is an outstanding one with natural beauty that rests under the shadow of the Himalayas. Pokhara is Nepal’s second largest city in Nepal and is one of the pleasing tourist destinations.   • World Peace Stupa

The World Peace Pagoda is a stunning Pagoda which stands out the top of the hill on the southern border of Phewa Lake. The dome-shaped pagoda has four images of the Buddha facing the four directions. The pagoda has remarkable architecture. It offers magnificent views of the Annapurna range and nearby hills. You can either hike to the pagoda or take a vehicle up to the hilltop.

The architecture, temples, and monuments in the bazaar bear a close similarity to the Newari architecture of the Kathmandu Valley.
