    Overview

    Chisapani Nagarkot trek is the most popular trek near kathmandu valley, starts from small village Sundarijal. It is about 15 km northeast of Kathmandu, which can be reached by bus or taxi. Chisapani is the first stop on the trek, which goes through the Shivapuri National Park. Shivapuri National Park is a home to variety of flora and fauna, including 177 species of bird, mammals such as Himalayan black bear, leopard, jungle cat and rhesus monkey, and 102 species of butterflies and 129 species of mushroom. Similarly, you can also witness the threatened animals in the forests like Assamese monkey, Clouded leopard, leopard cat and Pangolin. You can also explore at least 9 threatened species of bird and a number of rare and endangered species of butterflies. The main purpose of national park is to conserve and protect the valuable and endangered wildlife species and maintain the ecosystem and biodiversity of mid- hills, protect the lake, river or stream of the watershed and to enhance the standard of local people.  Chisapani offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan mountains range, including Mt. Everest, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa and Manaslu, Sisapangba, Annapurna range and Ganesh Himal. Similarly, the local cheese factory is another best place to explore in Chisapani. We'll spend a memorable night in Chisapani, explore sunset and sunrise view and ascend to Nagarkot.

    The trek then continues to Nagarkot, a popular hill station located at an altitude of 2175 m. The hill station is known for its beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Moreover, the Nagarkot tower, is an another major attraction that provide 360 degrees views of the surrounding landscapes and heart- touching mountains views. We'll spend the second night in Nagarkot and hike down at least four hours to reach Hindu temple Changu Narayan, UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the oldest temples in Nepal.

    Furthermore, the chisapani Nagarkot trek is a moderate short trek that can be completed within 8 days. We get to enjoy green forests, snowy mountains, rich culture, local people, and tradition. We recommend you to carry enough water and snack and wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

    Chisapani Nagarkot 8 day short trek can be done at any time of the year. The winter and summer is also equally favourable for this trek. But, the best time to do the Chisapani Nagarkot trek is during spring and autum season. During this time the sky is usually clear and dry, offering the best views of the mountains.     Trip Itinerary

    You will be welcomed by the representative of our company at the airport, then you will be transferred to your hotel where you’ll be staying overnight there.

    After having breakfast we will drive towards Sundarijal, for about 2 hours and trek to Chisapani for about 6 hours along the scenic hilly path. We will stay overnight in a local tea house available there.

    After having breakfast we will trek towards Nagarkot for about 7 hours.  Along the way, there are many viewpoints which will make you feel very refreshed and sound. Nagarkot is amazingly beautiful with the viewpoint of beautiful and stunning mountain ranges along with the views of sunrise and sunsets. We will stay here for a night.

    Nagarkot is very popular for the stunning sunrise view in the morning. We’ll observe that and drive to Dhulikhel about in 6hrs and stay in the hotel.

    Early in the morning after having breakfast,  we will drive towards to one of the popular Buddhist monasteries, Namo Buddha for about 4 hrs. Overnight stay will be there only.

    After having breakfast, we will explore the day in Namobuddha from the very close view. Overnight stay will be at namobuddha.

    On this day we will drive back to Kathmandu from Namobuddha. Rest of the day is free for doing personal activities. Overnight stay will be at Kathmandu Hotel.

    You will be transferred to International Airport by one of the representatives by final good bye.
