The main attraction sites in Kathmandu city are Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, etc.

Nagarkot is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district. It is known for a sunrise view of the Himalayas including Mount Everest as well as other peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. It also offers a panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley.

The scenic beauty of the place makes it a very popular hiking route for tourists. For those active nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, there are lots of hiking opportunities to do in and around Nagarkot. It is also popular for providing the broadest views of the Himalayan ranges like Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Ganesh Himal range, Langtang range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range, Mahalangur range (Everest range) and Number range with views of the Kathmandu valley and Shivapuri National Park. However, most of the sight-seeing places are open during office hour only.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrivel in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

On the very first day of your days in Nepal, you shall be greeted from one of our representatives at airport and transferred to your respective Hotel. We will make preparation for the upcoming tours in the valley.

Day 2 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu old heritage place

Today we shall be making swift and nice visits to several sites mainly focusing in the capital city. Early in the morning as soon as our breakfast ends we shall be heading for Pashupatinath.

  1. Swayambhunath: It is an ancient religious architectural site atop at the hill side of Kathmandu Valley also known as the monkey temple. The Swayambhunath comprises of a stupa, a variety of shrines and temples, some dating back to the Licchavi period.
  2. Kathmandu Durbar Square: It held the palaces of the Malla and Shah Kings who ruled over the city. Another fascinating site as Kumari Ghar (Kumari house) is a most where a girl is chosen through an ancient and mystical selection process to become the human incarnation of the Hindu mother goddess, Durga.
  3. Pashupatinath: It is the most old and popular temple for Hindu people. People make a visit here from all around the world.
  4.  Bouddha: And in the evening time we shall be heading for the biggest stupa of Nepal as Bouddha. Here we shall be enjoying the sunset and do the cora (making clock wise direction walk) around the stupa.

Day 3 : Sightseeing in Bhaktpur and patan and Drive to Nagarkot.

On this day we will make a visit to different site like, Patan and Bhaktapur.

  1. Bhaktapur: Another most happening place for the day is Bhaktapur. It is also enlisted under UNESCO world heritage.
  2. Patan Durbar Square: The Durbar is a marvel of Newa architecture. Some of the important structures are Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen temple, Vishwa Temple, Talejuvawani temple, etc.
  3. Drive to Nagarkot an hour ride from Kathmandu.

Day 4 : Drive to Kathmandu from Nagarkot.

Nagarkot: We will do the hiking around Nagarkot, sight-seeing and sun set. And overnight stay at Nagarkot.

Day 5 : depature at Kathmandu airport.

Departure: Back to Kathmandu and end the tour and sight-seeing in capital.
