Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Paragliding At Chandragiri

Wake up early at 6:30 in the morning, have a light breakfast, and unwind with energies before heading toward Chandragiri Cable Car base at Thankot, almost an hours drive away. At approximately 8 AM, take the 10-minute cable car ride up to the hilltop amidst beautiful views of the Kathmandu Valley. Upon arrival, you will join your paragliding crew, in a short safety briefing, gear, and prepare to fly. By 9:00, you will leave the takeoff grassy slope with your tandem pilot to glide for 20 to 30 minutes if enjoying the spectacular air views of the valley below, villages, and the Himalayas far around you. Between 10:00 and 10:30, after the landing near Thankot or Matatirtha, you will have a lot of picture opportunities around and can optionally take the cable car back and tour the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple and chill in the hilltop park. Around noon, lunch, with place(s) offering a view, is provided. Then at 2 PM, proceed from the hilltop to Kathmandu, with the afternoon kept free for vital sightseeing, shopping, or mere relaxation.
