The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a little more isolated and rugged, with fewer trekkers, presenting great views of the Manaslu range, traditional villages, and higher altitudes-including the Larkya La Pass. While both give stunning landscapes, Manaslu is quieter and more rugged compared to Everest Base Camp, busier and most accessible, or so it presents to those reaching the world’s highest peak.
Manaslu Circuit Trek Vs Everest Base Camp Trek for altitude and location:
The Everest Base Camp Trek is situated in the Khumbu region of northeastern Nepal, within Sagarmatha National Park. literally, Everest Base Camp (5,364m) and Kala Patthar (5,545m) – the places for Everest selfies (you know you need one!). One of the major attraction in Khumbu, perhaps the most famous for a viewpoint for Mount Everest. Kala Patthar, meaning “Black Rock” in Nepali, is not really a mountain, but rather a black rock formation that affords tight and close views of the south face of Everest. The summit offers 360-degree views of the Himalayan range, including Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and the Khumbu Glacier at the same place, isnt it wonderful? Also a bonus that due to the topography Kala Patthar provides the best views of Mount Everest.
